Abraham Lake Ice Bubbles

Customizable Private or Semi-Private Workshop

Capture beautiful and unique winter photos in the unforgettable mountain location of Abraham Lake in David Thompson Country, approximately 2 hours west of Red Deer, Alberta.

This area of the Canadian Rockies, away from the crowds of the National Parks, is a true gem and provides stunning photo opportunities in the winter. From the clusters and stacks of methane bubbles to wind-blown snow textures and ice heaves and formations, there will be no shortage of photographic subjects and inspiration. There is no guarantee on the smoothness or clarity of the ice, but there is always much to explore at this location.

I have been exploring and shooting the wild ice at Abraham Lake since 2019 and am very familiar with the area as well as the current ice conditions.

This workshop is booked by request and is available for 1-2 participants. Please contact me with your availability and preferences.
